This isn't big news to most but to us it is!! Hubbyman passed me a letter from the clinic which outlined a receipt for the consult fee. We are so thrilled and after him having some major doubts last week, it was so heart warming to see him so thrilled even in front of his friend!
So now we wait until November for our consult and hope that we can bank more than enough for our babies to come home when we look to cycle some time in March or April.
It's happening!!!

Meditation and Imagery CD
I 'stumbled' upon a site after being encouraged by a poster on an IVF site.

I have purchased this CD since I am stuck with some of my BF money on a card that was not accepted by the clinic...not sure what else to get since the card is not accepted everywhere, so who knows possibly towards some meds in the future perhaps?

A little progress
I do not own a credit card, well, not a "regular" one, just one of those pay-as-you-go types that you load and use when you want. So, I decided to load it with more than I needed for my telephone consult and well, embarrassingly, the card was declined. The receptionist there called me and said she tried the card a few times and said she would try it again. So I try and call the credit card co in the meantime and get no response so I call back and arrange to send a money order via my bank. What a pain in the you-know-what though! It truly peeved me so I took it upon myself to call the company that I got it from and lo and behold the lady that works there states that she too has run into complications when using the card on ocassion. So, to be fair I couldn't be mad at her so in the end I just left it at that. However I decided to take the money from the BF and go to the bank and buy a money order for the clinic. Thankfully I was served by a wonderful teller who didn't even charge me for it and saved me a few bucks! I mailed that right away! So now we wait and all I can think of now is what the heck do I do with the money on the annoying credit card? This morning coming back from work I was thinking about using it to purchase my meds for the cycle but then another part of my brain stated 'what if the card does not work?' Maybe I will make a small purchase...
So here we are Saturday September 12th and I am thinking the clinic should have our forms on our medical history and by mid-week my money order for the consult. Yay! Roll on November 5th! *happy dance*

Thankful, so thankful!
I was at my Dr's yesterday in the hopes of getting a release form for them to sign and to forward some test results from our old RE when we lived down South. Well apparently even though they sent off my signed release form 6 months ago, nothing was sent by the RE's office. I was ticked off! I was scared that this would delay my consult somehow as the Dr at the clinic obviously needs all the info before speaking with us. So after getting back from work this morning I called and well, would you believe it? The receptionist remembered me as the Dr sent the fax yesterday and that my chart is sitting on the RE's desk just awaiting his attention so that he can forward them onto my Dr here who will in turn send them on to the clinic! Yay! I am so thrilled and thought I would have to get all "snooty" with them! Hubbyman says that when I get annoyed, my British accent becomes more pronounced and that I become snooty! *LOL* He knows me too well ;)
Thank You Jesus for paving the way for us to get the ball rolling on the path to bringing home our babies \o/

Forms filled!
I am so proud of me! I managed to get hubbyman to print off some forms that we needed to fill from the clinic re our medical history and such and he actually filled them all out when I asked hime to! *falls down* So, all I have left to do is to get a release form dropped off at the hospital here since that is the last place that has our test results from when we lived out West. In a way I am glad that the test results are closer, so all they have to do is fax or mail them to the clinic. I am hopeful that all our forms will be in the mail come Friday morning and then here's hoping we hear from Dr H and then telephone consult here we come!
It seems strange that I am so excited about a telephone consult but it makes it all real. This morning at work my hubbyman pointed out a book for, "What To Expect Before You Are Expecting" by the same people who brought us the "What To Expect When You're Expecting". I own that book and never thought that we would be here 4 years later still waiting to expand our family but oh well. No use crying over spilt milk, we are moving ahead.
In a rare moment I noted pain in my hubbyman's eyes when he picked up a DVD that was in a bin at work "Bringing Your Baby Home" and then he apologised for his shooting blanks. I hugged him and told him to stop it as we are going ahead with IVF and can look forward to trying this method and being hopeful that it will work and that we will bring home our twins! He still thinks we will do this au naturale! Funny man!!
I have already got a plan for us in my mind, no matter what happens, I mean should the IVF fail, we will save up our money and invest in a RV and travel Canada and the States. Save some more cash and go to England to visit my family and friends and then the final big save will have us buying a beautiful cabin in the woods and living our lives enjoying all that God has created.
At least I have a plan right??
Blessings.
