It is really hard as an infertile woman seeing all the commercialism of Christmas. I HATE how FB, the telly and everywhere else is targeted at family. Family of course being having a child/ren because you cannot be a family with just a husband and wife can you? Even at work the night before last, it took a lot not to cringe visibly at my super when he noted that the company likes to encourage giving Christmas Day off for families with small children. It was so very hard for me to vocalize to him that we do not have any children. I actually wanted to say well we are working on that could you ask me about having Christmas off next year? Ugh!
Anyway I must find a way for us not to be here next year should the IVF not work...some sunny island away from all the trappings of santa and his so called little helpers.
