Hubbyman quits and I am still

believing!

He was very unhappy after he was moved to another dept at work. He truly enjoyed it when he was there for training some weeks back. Sadly I noticed the change in enthusiasm in him in this first full week. However he let me know first that he was having a hard time being there and becoming overwhelmed with information and many on the team doing things very differently from the others. So one day working with one in their way, was not the same as the way the other person worked when they were holding the reins in the department.

He left right away only after being at work about 2 hours. It broke my heart to see his face crumpled in pain thinking he was letting me down and disppointing me. I have experienced one time in my younger years working in a job that I did not enjoy. I know how that feels like. I was so happy when I called him on my coffee break, he sounded so very happy! What a difference leaving one's stressful job can do!

For now I am sensing that something good and better is coming his way. I am praying for God's continual blessings upon our lives. We have been very blessed when I was the main provider. I know this is just for a season, so I am at peace and know that my hubbyman needs some time to reflect and then pursue his dream job again.

I am still shaking my imaginary fist at him as he was supposed to be at work this weekend and I was going to have a spa day and movie evening tomorrow. Thankfully, I am doing 4 hours overtime to help out at work so he can have some time for himself and then in the late afternoon I have a wine date with a girlfriend :=)

Happy weekend!

  3. Sometimes you just have to walk away when things are not right. I've walked away from a job before. Be strong, BFK.
